Wrong, wrong, wrong. It's the sweet spot that's important. While it may be nice to have the "fastest"
PC available, the real key is to have the fastest machine
at the best price points. Here is the power of AMD.
Because they are not going after gross margins of 60+%,
they can seriously undercut Intel. For the same cost,
you can get 200MHz more. I don't need AMD to "destory"
Intel. If they can become a solid competitor with 1/3
market share in 2 years, they will have a marketcap that's
far higher than today.
