I agree with you.
It's a crap shoot to buy in here.
Logic tells me to wait until the Naz tests the very lows and perhaps beyond.

However, it just seems so tempting to buy during this panic.

I guess it also felt tempting as QCOM, NOK, and the others tumbled as their sector blew off steam for months...

JDSU's numbers should be the tell tale of this sector.
If they do better than expected, this sector is going to explode upwards.
If they don't meet expectations or show rapid slowing, I wonder how much further it will fall...

The rest of the Naz looks uneffected for the most part.
Perhaps the FO sector would only have the ability to drag the Naz as far as 3000.
Almost all of the other sectors have been deflated.
What other catalysts are there?
Oil? Somewhat factored in already.
War? Perhaps would be the final blow...

I can almost see bottom.
Sure hope there will be a few investors left to help the markets return...
The houses can only take it up to a certain point.
Then where will the rest of the investment dollars come from?

Some of the doomsday stuff floating around SI, is certainly beginning to look more convincing...
Hope that is a sign of the bottom nearing.

Anyone know the ticker for the gold index?
Sorta kidding. I think.

That was well said. Buying here is Rambo Investing, as they call it on thestreet.com. Another way to put it -- you can be a broke hero or a coward with money in your pocket. A little money is nice.
