Hi Howard. I was aware that POA uses an automated system. I selected it, along with Zogby and Gallup, because they were the three most accurate polls during the primaries (according to an independent study). I added BattleGround because its goal is to be strictly non-partisan. The real point of my consolidated poll is to eliminate the constant jumping numbers you see with, for example, Gallup. We know the real numbers didn't jump from 10% in favor of Gore to 11% in favor of Bush to 1% in favor of Gore to 5% in favor of Bush in the past few weeks -- but that's what Gallup reported. Right now my consolidation has it at Bush by 4.8%, with a range of Gore by 2% (Zogby) to Bush by 7% (POA). fuzzymath
