I've got you, don't I?? You can't explain Gore's Social Security "lock box"... In fact, I'll wager that you fully understand that it's an utter Ponzi scheme that will mortgage the prosperity of America's next generation of workers. Payroll taxes will HAVE TO increase to pay the ever increasing obligations 10, 20 and 30 years down the road. Gore can't fix it... while Bush is sticking his neck out in an attempt to deal with it early on. BOTTOM LINE.. The government can't have more money to spend unless the overall economy grows at the same time containing entitlement spending. You know it, I know it, and most of all, Gore and Bush know it... But only you and Gore are willing to demagogue the issue, rather than face reality...
