I am a fiscal conservative. No hogs in the trough until we pay off our national debt. That's why we've had 8 years of recovery because Clinton has been paying down the debt not adding to it. Tax cuts (mainly to those who don't need them) mean higher interest rates, greater debt and a quick boom followed by a big bust just like what happened during the Reagan-Bush years. If Bush wins get out of stocks and buy bonds and gold and lock in a low-interest mortgage while you can. Our grand-children will be paying for that tax-cut just like we're still paying for Reagan's debt, the S+L debacle and the Vietnam War. All interest and we get nothing for it. The tax cut is nothing but a cash advance on the national credit card which is already almost maxed out. Thank God CLinton's reversed the cycle and we're finally reducing the debt. If you want to call democrats liberals then guess what - we're the fiscal conservatives now and have been for some time.
