It's truly amazing what damage can be done to a company when management follows Wall Street's advice. Even given the strategical screw-ups, Xerox wouldn't be in such bad shape if it weren't for all that debt. Debt-funded stock buybacks are a joke! Maybe one reason IBM has reacted so negatively in the past few weeks is that its shareholders recognize similiarities to XRX.
