LT moving averages Part 2. a 9 year monthly NDX charts reveals for 10/00 value 1 yr MA 3668 2 yr MA 2908 3 yr MA 2343 4 yr MA 1993 The only two times I can see that we touched 2 yr MA was in 5/97 and 11/98. From any time frame before 1/95 NDX was pretty flat with all 2 yr moving averages being in the H/L value for the index for the month under examination. IMHO I think that the 2 yr MA has been briefly touched twice before in last 3 yrs and we are at it right now at 2900 so we should not get too worried about what has happened so far and there is no need to panic unless we don't rally quickly from any fall from here. john
