Dow Election Indicator:

"...In 21 of the 25 elections since the Dow’s creation, the incumbent or his party’s candidate won if the average rose between July 31 and Oct 31; the challenger won if it fell. This year’s magic number is Dow 10,522!!!"

I guess it's true again here, with the Dow on knife's edge, and the opinion polls saying that it's too close to call, as is the market!
