Danes are happy because they have good cheese, not because they are taxed heavily. I thought everybody knew that...

Rajala, how do you define happy? And isn't it true that the Swedes, another socialist country, has one of the highest depression and suicide rates in the world? Have you ever seen an Ingmar Bergmann movie?

And by the way, denial is one of the most primitive defense mechanisms, often leading to depression and other serious mental illnesses. And you sir seem to be using that psychological protection big-time in your assertions about GSM.

The heavier the tax burden is the better the country is doing and the better the people are feeling.

I guess that's why they where rioting in the streets this summer over gasoline taxes...it was all that pent-up "good will".

<According to another study the Danes, some of the heaviest taxed people on earth are also the happiest in the world.>

I don't think the Danes happiness has anything to do with high taxes. Now give them a tax cut and watch them dance in the streets!
