extreme optimism is duking it out with extreme pessismism

That sounds pretty good. If JDSU doesn't go into reverse after hours, the market may continue to advance tomorrow to test 3450 again.

Bosco,

Fwiw, tried to play the NT for a dcb. Entry point was ok (can$65.05) [tse uses decimals], but I waited around too long this morning and had to revise my ask twice from (can$73.95). Finally went out at can$71.5. Wished I had more conviction, but I'll raise cash first just to sleep well over the wkend.

Also out went sndk@53.50. ssti@21.375, KEM@25.5 (0.625x6 + 2.625x3 loss, but this is a significant position (that's what happens when you triple), and basically ruined my halloween). Never mentioned I tried a DCB with ctlm that did not work out the way I hoped, out for quite a loss today [I won't say how much] (never play thinly traded stocks close to lockup expiry).

Have a couple of canadian stocks that are barely breaking even, but I'll take them home for now.

I'll look around next week to figure out what to do. Meanwhile, unless an incredible bargain pops up, I'm out for now. I'm back in if they'll give me sndk below 50 or ssti below 19. (it ..may.. happen)

-Have to raise cash to feed candy to those little tykes when they come a'calling.
