Talk about suspicious timing. Look at Bush's Texas record on education, pollution and health care. For seven years no action at all then lo and behold in 1999 they finally insist on polluter regulations (giving them 5 years to comply), execute this Texas test scam and finally start trying to get poor kids some health care. All election-year conversions so Bush could run as the "compassionate conservative". A hollow dishonest blatantly manipulative record.
