Sam, When short covering begins or real buying does; the stock will take off. Who will sell it now given they held on through this recent selloff. If you are willing to take a chance on it ahead of earnings, I can tell you that you are not going to sell it up 10 points. Short covering is going to feed upon itself. I will point out Rambus again, so many shorted it and then it just took off --- the shorts that were patient on the initial move up "capitulated" later and threw in the towel. I am expecting huge things out of the one and other easy targets of shorts such as AMCC. So many traders must have taken these down in the last 2 days. This is going to be a lot of laughs as the the "patient" shorts will get burned by the buyers and the ones who cover early and go long of course. There might be the odd analyst who tries to downplay the numbers but it won't matter! I think we will see the anatomy of a short squeeze in many fiber names. It should be textbook and a lot of fun if you are long. Remember October is almost over and that will only add to the fun! JMHO.
