Now we know Bush is going to win!

Bush leads in Halloween mask sales

WAUKESHA, Wis. (AP) - Jalem Getz puts little faith in polls and pundits. To predict who is going to win a presidential race, he looks to what he says is a time-tested indicator: Halloween masks. Getz, founder of BuyCostumes.com, a Waukesha-based seller of costumes, said the winner of every presidential election for nearly three decades has been foretold by sales figures for rubber masks of the candidates. "Based on the records since 1972, they have been right on every time," said Getz, whose company has compiled sales totals from past election years from five mask manufacturers and 12 costume stores nationwide. And this Halloween season, sales of George W. Bush masks lead those of Al Gore masks 57% to 43%, according to BuyCostumes.com figures. Other mask sellers said the race appears closer.

these last 8 years have seen me wading through a cultural wasteland.

i wonder how many others feel the same.

and i'm not even a religious nut (anymore =g=) or whatever.

mtv killed any kind of music which required any skill on the part of the musicians, to play.

they lied about this stock market, pretending that rising indexes translated directly into a 'strong economy.'

i could go on and on but why bother?

the riff raff with always pull the big 'd' lever because they want the 'security' (handouts) that it gives them.
