I know you asked luc, but from my perspective, 87 caught everybody leaning the wrong way. There was little warning, the average individual was not aware of what was going on with the markets, there were no chat boards, no cnbc, etc. And the pre-crash expansion was not nearly as drastic as we have had over the last few years. OTOH, there were no circuit breakers, and not nearly as much liquidity to jump in and BTD.
