Manny, that is what I said about Corning the other day. They, like JDSU, have "too many" customers. . . so when one disappoints, they just move down the wait list. Again, the problem in fibre optics is not demand. . . not by a long-shot. It is supply. The R&D'rs can't bring ideas to product fast enough and the manufacturers just can't tool up and produce fast enough. This is what causes an execution "problem" for companies like Lucent, etc.

And this is why I say that the Nortel "news" was hogwash. It should never have affected the fibres as it did. But the Po' Boys needed a reason to take down fibres. . .hard and fast. . . and Nortel was as good a reason as any.
