This is really good news! RAMBUS stock should soar if this is true. We are talking more than double the royalties.
Rambus has already signed up 22% of the industry to pay DDR royalties.

Are we talking about a launch of a couple of million units before Christmas?

Prediction for Monday.
At the risk of getting flamed on Monday, <g> I'll go out on a limb here. Based on all the articles floating around the net today, I think NEC will show two PC's at the 760 launch. A mid range with 200MHz FSB/PC1600, and a high end with 266MHz FSB/PC2100. Won't be available in the U.S. for awhile, but will be featured in Japan and Europe.
