I'd like to make a comment. We, everyone of us that was long in this stock, and a bunch of other (I know most you all own: SDLI, PMCS, AMCC, BRCM, TXCC, EXAR, VTSS.....etc) got the SH*T kicked out us for most of this week. I urge caution against treating the JDSU earnings report as the White Knight for the market, or the industry. I like what I heard from from JDSU, and we know a little good news goes a long way. But I am confused by the disconnects I hear from other vendors and other research: including reports of CAPEX spending slowdowns, vendors "full" of gear waiting for deployment, financing issues, overextension of credit, defaults, new vendors buying gear, number of new IPO's coming to market and being created by venture funding...etc. Let's endeavour to party on the news, but keep our ears to the ground for another thundering herd of bears.
