WAVO Suspends Reverse Stock Split PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 26, 2000--WAVO Corporation (NASDAQ: WAVO - news) announced today that the company will not take action at this time on a previously announced reverse stock split. This decision is based on business opportunities, shareholder input and the outcome of pre-hearing discussions with Nasdaq officials concerning listing requirements, according to Michael Coffin, who was appointed chief executive officer of the company today. ``Nasdaq officials have indicated their willingness to help WAVO achieve compliance through means other than a reverse split,'' Coffin said in a conference call today with investors following his appointment. Coffin said that while a reverse split still may be appropriate at some point in the future, he does not intend to proceed with a split at this time.
