Ugly cowboy in heels? That brings to mind a gay pride float I once saw- but I know you're not that kind of cowboy. I would have been perfect in the question department- but since I never trust answers, even my own answers, I would be terrible in the answer department- unless you want a very equivocal answer person. If you want that kind of person, I'd be fine. I probably owe Mr. X some quality time. I've been doing so much for the little X's that poor Mr. X has not received much attention. Today I was out in a wetland with one little X (a VERY wet wetland in the pouring rain) looking at mud flats and egrets and learning about the endangered California Clapper Rail. We even saw a polycheat worm. Tomorrow I go to a pumpkin patch with the very littlest X and several of her 1st grade compatriots. Apparently there will be a great deal of mud, to go with the pumpkins. Perhaps by the weekend I will have some energy to dress up and entertain Mr. X. I will tell him he has you to thank for whatever it is I get up to.
