"I did notice that Roth blamed daytraders for the initial drop on the release day"

I didn't see that comment but it would make sense. Meaning that Roth isn't used to the hoards of 'uneducated masses' following NT. A good portion of the trading public has been made "day traders" by the huge volitility in the market this year. Folks (like me) that wouldn't do any trading for weeks and months at a time are now trading daily. In short, if the news spooks investors they become "day traders" in a heart beat now. Smaller institutions are also trading in and out of stocks much faster. And even more 'experienced hands' will dump a stock quick if it looks if sentiment is going against it. We've seen our holdings get sucked down too many times. We will 'dump', let the dust settle, and attempt to pick up our shares again at a lower price.

Yes.. I do believe Roth was correct... "day traders" did dump NT the other day. (and yes.. Roth needs to do a better job with the press, analysts and the 'day trading' public - he will though. I've have yet to see him commit the same mistake twice).
