You are right. Gore has a lot of success as a politician. A lot of that is brown nosing, connections, being political. However, I don't think he has good core values. I don't think he would, if he were not Al Gore the famous, be very successful in the private sector. He couldn't be a leader because people won't follow a person they cannot believe or count on. Gore would abandon you in a second if it served his purpose. i.e. how he was willing to vote for or vote against the Gulf war. The deciding thing would be who would give him more exposure in prime time. He sold his vote. Is that character?

Dave: I don't buy my wood at Home Depot or those places. When I rebuilt my front and back porches a few years ago (I've been a rehabber for a quarter-century), I bought some trim at HQ (now out of business) and stuck it in the garage in June. About a month later when I went to get the trim, it looked like a letter J. I just shop now where the contractors shop.
