I agree, getting bludgeoned on a daily basis is lots of fun, but I've had my fill. Some of my friends have called a bottom about 2-3 times recently so one of these times they are bound to be right. With the fiber optic stocks cracking recently and good results from JDSU then maybe we can get on with things. I bought some NT the other day, continuing my Canadian theme for 2000 (Infowave, Technovision, Cygnal and of course, NHC). Good investing!

cleto,

NT and NHC working side by side could mean a long term fruitful relationship. NHC could be a take over target. Anything is possible.

However, I feel that NHC could do better independently. That is, if NHC can implement it's strategy perfectly by expanding it's product line through acquisitions and R&D. They have to be very aggressive. It's a dog-eat-dog world out there. If NHC does not eat up other companies, NHC itself will become a takeover target. NT, AT&T, Cisco, ILECs, CLECs, you name them. NHC becomes fair game.

BTW, I thing the sell-off is over. November/December should be good months for the Nasdaq and the general markets. Watch out for the volatility though. NHC should do much better than the market. I think over the next two months we could see new highs for NHC.
