So do other vendors : IBM, CSCO, HWP (to name a few) have what they call a "professional services" team, whose job is to take on projects for installation/configuration etc of their products that have been sold by a sales rep. Sure, liability in revenue stream is dependant on how a given company chooses to reflect the #s (within GAAP for the country). But - its all done legally, and "sooner or later, if its a successful project, the money WILL come in". 'Course if its a screwed up project, theres all kinds of crap that follows on from that! cheers, kumar
