Dan3, We've all had it with announcements and paper releases. Rambus wants it's double royalty from DDR and so far DDR has been D.O.A. DDR can talk all it wants (it's been doing that for more than a year now) but the fact is that volume production is what matters. And currently... THERE IS NO VOLUME! Where are all the OEMs lining up to announce production of DDR PCs? Where are they? Going by the article, only one (a MM and a low PC volume at that). Let's face it, until DDR gets volume production going and all the OEMs put their trust in this junk, DDR is dead dead dead. Rambus can sure use the double royalties from DDR but DDR is nowhere to be found. Somebody get out and push DDR to volume production. Rambus can use even more $$$ from DDR as well as from SDRAM.
