Agree with you....
The liberals use your money to buy power from others to control you with....hardy a recipe for respect of leadership.
The conservatives are a non-factor.....a party headed by a dismal failure from the past.
The NDP handling tax money.........that would be as clumsy as a bear playing with his dink.

An Alliance win with a strong Bloc presence would, IMO, be a good mix. It would present an opportunity to form a good mutual relationship between Quebec and the rest of Canada based on economics and common sense, instead of some stupid liberal utopian theology.
Cretien has proven to be nothing more than a banana republic style dictator and a selfserving SOB struck in the likeness of Trudeau. It's definitely time for him and the likes of Shrill Shiela to be out out to pasture.

<Oddly enough, some left-wing demagogues now call the Nazis 'right-wing', as if to distance themselves from the stigma.>

What do you call them? Middle of the road?

Gulo: Funny thing is about Nazis and Socialism, the Liberal Party has come closer to Socialism in this country than the NDP. Perhaps, though, it is because the NDP haven't been at the helm for a coon's age.

The gun registry is socialism/communism in its purest form. A friend of mine toured the facility in Ottawa for destroying and dismantling the guns that the government says it isn't going to confiscate, and it is absolutely huge. High-tech saws, crushers, etc, etc. But it is kept a secret. Social engineering, after all, shouldn't be advertised, it should be imposed, right?

The problem with any good intentions are that those who have the "intentions" need to appreciate life and freedom enough to realize where to draw the line. If there is one fundamental flaw in humanity, it is the inability to know when to quit.

Ya, Olympic athletes get to be medal-winners because they don't quit, but they are also taking personal responsibility for their own well-being and their own welfare. They are acting in their own interests, and they know when a little bit of pain is a good thing, or when a LOT of pain means they have gone too far in their efforts.

Social movements, however, do not dictate or produce the same level of personal responsibility. It's why fish swim in schools. Sure, they don't think of the fact that they are decreasing their own chances of being eaten by swimming in a group, but cause and effect combined with the law of averages (math) says that by swimming in a school, they are "spreading out the risk".

And humans don't consciously think of the fact that they won't be held personally responsible or personally accountable when they "swim in schools", but that's exactly what happens. Ever try to get fair treatement from a government department when the "system" has let you down? It requires one person ONE individual in the "school" to stand up and say, "Mr. Smith, I will accept responsibility for all the grief and suffering you have been caused by our impersonal beaurocracy."

It's like a shark trying to go for ONE fish. He won't be able to do it. Each individual fish benefits because no-one shark is chewing on their personal ass.

Change is inevitable, but it has to be calculated and planned. Chance also happens, and shit also happens, but without measuring progress, without goals, and without knowing when something good has gone bad, death, suffering and what many of us would call "evil" results.

That's why Communism, Socialism, Liberalism, Marxism, Lenninism, Relativism, Separatism, ya-da, ya-da have to be kept in check.
