Some industries were not nationalized, but were run by government decree. Most of the economy was centrally dictated. Private ownership of firearms was banned, and government funded make-work projects were the norm.

That sure has an ominous ring to it......

Exactly. The Nazi was the most servile and obedient of the militant left wing.

The economy was so bad in pre-Nazi Germany they would have voted for anybody. If those conditions happen again people are much softer now. I wonder what will happen next time.

I will consider voting for any party that promises to dismantle the CBC.
