That is the sense I got from his morning comments as well. There are probably too many like him out there and that is great news for JDSU. Even if he is not short on these, I am sure is aware that there are lots of others who are.
I smell a huge short squeeze. I am going to load up on any optical stock that is slower than the others in gaining at the open.

I think the optical stocks got huge shorting from these types hedge funds and they are going to pay today! So much for the gains made by shorts. Watch the call buying volume this morning.

I would have been just a little disappointed if he had changed his mind since the earnings report.

This is the only sector I will be buying today after being a little lighter than usual in optical lately.
