Hi Robin - I ve not used VMS for at least a decade now, any new improvement :)? Unfortunately, this world is not about the best of breed. Back in the 70s, CDC Fortran was superior to IBM's. Well, CDC has gone the way of the do-do bird! I am not knocking CPQ though. I think she is doing the right things. It is not about which one OS is better, but what the customers want. If they want W2K, sell it to them. If they want VMS, sell it to them. If they want Linux, sell it to them. And back up the products with her own service staff :)! best, Bosco
