Oracl, I wish you luck with your strategy. I have been doing that for a few years. My strategy has been as follows. I exit the markets in April by using trailing stops. I sit out the market during the summer, sometimes day trading to stay current, but mostly stay away. After Labor day I go back to work. I stay in cash throughout September while watching CNBC and SI. I do this to get comfortable with some stocks I want to own in October. When my buy list is complete I wait for the correction in October to establish positions. I hold these positions until April while monitoring the fundamentals for changes. April 1, I put in trailing stops and take the summer off. Good luck
