IF YOU COULD PICK THE NEXT PRESIDENT INCLUDING OTHERS, WHO WOULD YOU PICK?

Can we indulge in a bit of fantasy here and propose candidates that would never make it through the process of smoke filled back rooms, endless unctious pandering for money both soft and hard, and who would likely never accept the office to start with? In that case, I would propose the pairing of Alan Greenspan and Alvin Toffler. The Al-Al ticket would have no nonsense fiscal responsibility with out of the box future oriented thinking. Besides, anyone named Al can't be all bad, can they?

OT - I think, assuming that algore succombed to Clinton's leadership as opposed to be acting out of his own sense of ethics, that he is too easily influenced by folks of clearly bad behavior.

John McCain liked having his name on the bill. He also liked a guy in Phoenix who defrauded his elderly S&L customers you might recall.

I haven't heard that the democrat party is still commiting a felony but of course I didn't hear about the last one's until it was too late. I guess they weren't putting out press releases on that.

You may "see Bush as sleazy" but I would like to hear about any instance of such behavior that you can point to. As to my choice of a President - George W. suits me just fine. He is going to make the party a better one as well as serve his country with honor. I'm ready to shuck the status quo and get on with the business of making this country even better.
