I glanced at a long term MO chart. It dropped pretty good in 87, but came right back and headed higher in short order. It was a good buying opp.

Cyclicals are being sold on the GDP today. That's bearish for the broad mkt. Staying in cash mainly. Stagflation is now being forecasted in the economic data. Are we in for a 1970's re-run?

The election is too close to call. Someone posted a couple days ago the (Dow level vs. incumbent party chances) on presidential elections. I see no reason it will not work again.

Dow has to be above 10522 for Gore to win.
