Interesting observation on the Dow- May comparison.

I think there's some speculation that the dollar rally may be petering out with the sharp drop in it today. A weaker buck should benefit the multinational Dow stocks that are being bid up today.

On the $ daily, it looked like the $ dropped pretty hard about the same time the Dow 30 made that 1000 pt. move up. Does anyone have a good chart of that?

Don't know if this chart will come out, but if you draw a line across the Oct. 98, July 99 and April 2000 quarterly peaks, the INDU has clearly broken the two-year downtrend. Should indicate long-term shift toward value.
