Let's be a bit philosophical shall we? (since you make such a huge grandiose macro assessments all the time)

What do you think has brought human civilization to where it is now? Short Traders or visionary scientists & engineers?

And after you answer that question, WHERE would YOU classify yourself among those two categories?

Now doom and gloom bambs sounds much like the 5k nasdaq bulls last year. You were right for awhile--slowdown is here and valuations prove that but going forward economy will grow with lower interest rates continuing the soft landing. But I grant you this still could get ugly.
