SO- I think all of what you say is true- the power, or leverage of selling puts is considerable. But I notice you did not answer the question I asked you. And I suspect you know very well what the answer is. If I sell $10K worth of puts on XYZ, neither you nor anyone else can tell me what my downside potential is, but it could be considerably more than $10K. Which is quite different from my my relatively conservative in-the-money (barely) Jan 70 calls on JDSU. So I point all this out for inexperienced options traders who may not realize what dragons there lurk. Regards, Larry
