Jim, I have a nice rumor for you, to go with your "Oct 31 P4 launch in Indonesia" "report" from the fool. Feel free to circulate among the other Rambus flack sites. Don't say I never gave you anything. I just talked to the sales rep at Gateway and he said that they are receiving 1.4 Ghz P4's next week. Maybe that is why AMD will release the AMD-760. I think AMD knows that Intel will be releasing the P4 very very soon and they want to minimize the impact of the P4's 400Mhz bus so they will get the AMD-760 out. According to the sales rep the P4 is amazing. What ever that means but I would not be suprized if it ends up to be a very strong CPU. After all nobody can expect Intel to just quite the processor market. aceshardware.com Followup from the same reliable source: I asked if they were going on sale and he said yes....but he could be wrong.
