Aus - Is this a summary of this case:-

1. SNDK patent is invalid

If that doens't work then

2. The written rules of the CFA and or the PCMCIA body call for any patents to be disclosed and ( not royalty bearing to the owner?)

If that doesn't work then

3. There are unwritten rules or agreements or discussions of CFA members where any relevant and valid patents will be disclosed and not royalty bearing.

Eventually you go down a road leading up to a position where its one mans word against anothers and presumably not a whole bunch of witnesses there.

Best regards,

L

Aus - STEC 512Mgbt Flash -

Any idea what this is all about. Picked up on the Yahoo thread today. Apparently these guys can make CF in bigger cpacities than SNDK without using SNDK patents.

Best regards,

L

Aus,

Are you telling me that I can buy 48 flash cards for my camera, each with a different manufaturer's label? Whoah - this doesn't sound right. I can only name a few. You wouldn't have a list of the 'pop 48' would you? So this means SNDK is getting anti-competitive roalties from only 46 of them, since Lexar doesn't believe in anti-competitive expenses?
