Head of PC processor unit leaves AMD By Ian Fried Staff Writer, CNET News.com August 30, 2000, 4:55 p.m. PT Advanced Micro Devices said today that Larry Hollatz, who oversaw PC processor operations, has left the company. Hollatz, whose official title was group vice president of AMD's computation products unit, will be replaced on an interim basis by AMD's president, Hector Ruiz.
