If only consequence of support for and rejection of God were that obvious. I've pointed out that given structural adjustments, I doubt that a porno theater showing illicit stuff would get stuck by lightning more often than churches. Actually, as built, churches with their steeples seem more likely to be hit by lightning than flat roofed porno salons.

I'm familiar with a high altitude plateau where we could conduct an experiment. It has more evidence of air to ground lightning strikes than any other place I've ever been (I've travelled, hiked and camped extensively in the West). The ground is literally pocketed with places where fragments of rock have been blown off the lava layers exposed there. Not a tree around. Nice and flat.

We erect a 50 foot tall mast with a cross at the base, another with nothing, another with a pentagram, another with the star of David, and another with the ying-yang. Then we count lightning strikes and ratio them to the pole with nothing. I doubt there'd be any significant difference. Any takers?

what if you already gave your son everything possible, then he turned around and spit in your face saying I owe you nothing and I deny that you even exist. I don't know about you but I would say "oh ya, deny this, Whack.

If I conceived a son, then walked away leaving him with nothing but a book to remind him of my existence, then showed up a few decades later asking to be worshipped, I think he'd have every right to spit in my face.

Think of it; how many billions of children, and not even a visit for 2000 years. "Here you go, free will, you deal with it, I'm outta here."

The ultimate deadbeat dad.

If you really love something violence (whack) is not an answer- violence comes from the all too human trait of expecting something in return for things. My love for my children is not conditional on what they give me back. If my children denied that I existed I would be very sad- but I would always love them. And I would never be so stupid as to think that abusing them would bring them back.

So sad that you would post something like that.
