Well, IMHO, (and your's too, I'm guessing), gold is busted... whether or not the miners want to admit it, gold no longer represents a store of value in its historical sense. If it did, given what we have all been through, (high oil prices, fear of inflation, wars in the middle east, falling euro, etc,etc, ad nauseam), gold would be well over $400/toz...
Well, the stuff keeps going down, especially when measured in real terms.
So, for me, the "new gold" is JDSU, QCOM, INTC, MSFT and the like... also I like most of the others on the Porch list... maybe even some BDLP, FCEL or PWER in the future, who knows... too many to mention! Trouble is, need more loot to be able to participate in this candy store.
FWIW, I'm anticipating that we've had our bear market for now! Have a good weekend all...
