I did ok today. It wasn't like I thought it would be, after seeing JDSU yesterday. I was watching those JDSU options of mine the last couple of days. They were buying them up fast, when the stock was low.....65-75 area......and pretty good volume. That kept the price strong. I thought....good sign of a bottom, eh? Maybe! But today.....everybody was unloading em...right from the gate.......no buyers. Big chickens! I was gonna sell some of mine, but the price came down too quick......below the closing price yesterday. And looky here...the underlying stock price stayed up there for awhile. Good sign of top, eh? <g> Maybe! So I sold the longs I bought yesterday. Those options really bothered me. Thought twice about it later, and bought em back lower, luckily. You know what? I think everybody was doin the same dang thing today, because NOBODY wants to commit more cash right now, including me! The volume and swings in this market, are coming to a climax....it seems. But I didnt sell any this afternoon.....I was tired. Those shares are my newest addition to my LTB&Hs. Maybe the rest of the traders out there are gonna take a break. Maybe their tired. Nows a good time, dont ya think? Slowly but surely the confidence in this market, will be built up. A couple of big hurdles to get over though, but we can do it. We still got CSCO, DELL and a few other earnings reports. I hope their good! Elections are almost here, that should help. Then we have the holidays. Thanksgiving, shopping (holiday?), Christmas and New Years. Good cheer! Lots of spending....Lots of money being made. Xmas bonuses! New budgets, and new ideas. Lets put some of this into stocks! Heck, lets get in early, because we know this rally is gonna happen, right? Maybe! <gg> Aint this fun? Have a good weekend! :0) Dalin@hmmmmmmm.com
