That is the equivelant of Century 21 stating that a home it sells results in the recognition of the sales price of the home as revenue..and not just the 6% Commission it recieves.

This is accounting Fraud in my book and is a joke.

AMZN does the same thing with books, although it makes only a hair of the actual proceeds as a middle man, and has in many caes the right to return books to the publishers.

Truth, check out DRIV's last quarterly statement. DRIV is an electronic distributor of software, a middleman. They always recognized the purchase price of software until this last quarter, where they stopped the practice. Now they only recognize their small percent of the sale. This is good, DRIV saw the writing on the wall. I am sure other companies will follow suit.
