Barry, I am familiar with patents and patent claims. There is novelty and utility in Rambus' patents. They applied themselves to the task of making RDRAM work and in the process solved a lot of the problems of SDRAM and DDR. The engineers that say this stuff is obvious are full of envy. The ones that say it is too difficult to engineer are second and third rate lazy engineers. Engineering is supposed to be about solving difficult problems and making the solutions work, not about what is easy and does not disturb the engineer. I say those whining engineers are wimps and deserve to be fired. <G>
