Dave,

It will be interesting if decimalization and ISE close up the spreads.

Until the recent spike in IV the bid/asked spreads were tightening and I believe that the ISE and the pending Justice Dept. investigation were factors in that.

The proposal to trade individual stock futures could have a significant influence on the options markets.
