Joe, I think the part of Hammer taping out shortly is great news. Wouldn't it mean that we are likely to see a demo within 6 months and a working version by q4-01. In other words, even if Mustang can't keep up with p4; AMD is likely to have an answer for P4 before P4 gets up to speed. No wonder Intel is talking about P4 being low end and cheap before it is even introduced.

So Cheerleader JC translates some document in Japanese to come up with this tape out date.

I guess that makes it official - pretty soon the YUK Wretchedster will publish your SI post of JC's translation of a Japanese article and it will become Gospel.
