this is one of the lessons I've learned this past year: that great DD (original or stolen) can help you find and put your trust in great companies, but that you can't predict in the short (days, weeks) or even medium (months) term how their stocks will do.

Then why the hell are you still trading short and medium term options!?

Good lesson tek.
The one lesson I learned is that when in a bear market the more you try to make the more you lose unless you are a
very talented trader or have an ET<g>.
Buying the best companies and standing still is the best defense against the Bear.
