>difference between capitalism, communism and totalitarianism

The second is a subset of the third.

>Flower Power At the Commune !

Tee hee hee. I help found the campus 'Greens' at the U of Eh (that's the University of Alberta). They were the fore-runner of the Alberta Green Party today. I left when my two co-conspirants decided that the Alberta Green Party would be decidedly Marxist-Leninist, while I was a libertarian. Admittedly, there are limits to how cooperative I can be. Today, the party has relaxed a bit, and now even has a few polices that don't make me want to vomit (free votes, right of recall, etc.). They are still firmly socialist, though.

Flower power was originally an expression of rebellion against the ideologically dogmatic nature of government and society in the 50s and 60s. People just wanted to be free of the dogmas that got them into wars. To some extent, I shared that vision. There were some other libertarians in there, but to really rebel, you had to buy the dogma 180 degrees opposite to that of the government's. I didn't feel that strong a need to rebel.

Nevertheless, I still get a feeling of nostalgia when I see a VW bus. <G>

No help is available. The political process is the formation of our collective future, skin-heads and all.
