I show that futures ramped up HARD after the close Friday and that we could be down 7 points on GLOBEX and still be in program buy territory with it taking over 12 points down to produce a sell. Did Quote.com have a bunch of bad data? Was there news of some sort that I can't find or was there just some more Gore election money dumped to make things look pretty?

Is it a coincidence that the dollar fell right when there was suspected intervention of the market Friday? Funny how printing money and dumping it in the stock market has a tendency to devalue things a bit. <ggggg>

Don, we lost the site board last night and I had to use a backup to get it back on line. Unfortunately all posts since my backup of 26 October were lost. I just pasted your last Index Update in there but if you have copies of your stuff from Friday, you might want to copy them back in.

Good Luck,

Lee
