And where would you cut from our federal budget while decreasing revenues and expecting to pay down the debt at the same time? See, that is the problem. The debt must go first. And in the meantime we can't cut out our safety net or military. We've already cut a lot of it already and now both candidates are promising increased programs and military expenditure. Can't have it both ways. Everyone would love to pay less tax but first you have to pay off the credit card while keeping the country from falling apart.
