Does anyone anticipate a bit of run up in the stock price in anticipation of the split? The record date for owning the stock and qualifying for the split is November 9...I would think we would get some type of bounce before then."

Tough call! I believe the stock will remain within the trading range, 105 to 110, but after the split it could drop! After all, the trees don't grow to skies!

Dear robwin: Hard to say, personally, I think the stock reacts on its own merits as an investment not necessarily the opportunity of a split. Incidentally, while the record date is 11/9 the split date is 12/5 so anyone buying up through 12/4 would get the split benefits. I figure by 12/4 there will be so much good news out there stock will be rising in any event. In my experience, I havent seen SUNW announce a split in their stock, EXCEPT when they KNOW major revenue and earnings improvements are in the works. JDN
