Frank J,

my question is; how would i play futures, considering my inclination to spreads?

I couldn't say at this point because my knowledge of futures is limited and the trading rules for the stock futures have not been released yet.

i do prefer spreads to naked

I actually prefer naked options to spreads but rarely do them anymore. If you are a trader of any consequence naked options will yield greater profits than spreads but they require constant monitoring and strict discipline with your mental stop loss points. I have no problem with the latter but I am no longer willing to devote the time necessary to properly monitor the positions. Remember-live while your alive. Credit spreads can yield a nice return with a lot less anxiety.

Regards,

Ken
